Puh Puh Puh

And I don’t know why I want to voice this out loud
It’s therapeutic somehow

Hello my loyal follower(s). Many things have happened these few weeks. Let me start with the most recent.

Puh Puh Puh Poker Face

Today was a rather eventful day. We balled it up in the morning. After that I got home and sat at the ol’ computer doing the usual. Facebook/games. I had time before going to Poker Night so I looked to see if anyone wanted to go get some drinks with me. Lo and behold, Betty Wong was on. I haven’t really talked to her since school ended so I asked her if she wanted to chat over boba. So we met at Quickly’s and caught up a little and reminisced. Hah. I miss the old days. But that’s a story for another blog some other day. It was nice seeing her, though. Even if she is rather odd sometimes, Betty’s cool.

Luck was not with me tonight. Even though I did make some rather dumb plays, Fortune was not smiling upon my hands. We had our poker night at Ricky’s house. Played one round before we went to KT cafe for food. The chicken steak with pork chop was alright. Service was rather mediocre, but the waitress seemed a little pissed off. Oh well. After said food break, we convened back at Ricky’s and played another 2 rounds. I don’t remember who, but someone decided to bring up scary stories and such. Things like Thomas from the Orphanage? Hitchhiker stories, some other scary shit. It didn’t help that there were strange noises and everyone decided to bust out their own scary stories, talking about what if’s. What if the lights flashed off and on and someone was suddenly missing? What if the same thing happened but there was someone extra? What if the group pic we took had an extra person? What if Thomas popped out of the closet? What if the Quarantine/Rec monster thing popped out of the attic. O_O. Didn’t help that people’s phones suddenly rang. God. Strange how a group of grown men are freaked out by mere ideas. Needless to say the drive home was rather speedy.

Puh Puh Puh Pants Party

So yeah, Jack’s Ice cream party. I wanted to help her out since this was “the first party she’s ever done.” So I volunteered to buy cookies and soda to go with the ice cream. Initially we were supposed to go shopping for everything at once, but her mom said she was going to buy the ice cream. The party was pretty fun. Not as many people as I thought would show up showed up. =/ But it was nice nonetheless. Got to see some people again which was nice. I was makeshift grill master, or rather the guy in charge of the burgers after Alex left. It was a short job since medium sirloin burgers were not that much in demand. After the grill, I joined a few people in Jack & Carol’s room to talk/play cards & other games. We were in there for quite a while. The other people that weren’t in the room went out for a lovely walk down the beach. I mean the sidewalk on Valley. Hmm. Yeah. Darren and David left at about 10 to go catch a movie. Most people were gone already. When everyone left I stayed a bit after to see if the Chuong’s needed help cleaning up or the like. But instead I ended up chatting with Mother Chuong, Jack, and Carol. It was interesting. Haha. Jack has such a close and interesting family. By 11, Mother Chuong needed to leave for work. As she walked out of the house, she told me that I needed to leave in 15 mins. Hah. I ended up staying there and talking with the two sisters until about 1:30. Gossip is my weakness. D= After that we did make a quick visit to the roof of the little mexican house of the Chuong Family. Pretty soon after the rooftop, I took my leave.

The next day, I hung out with Ricky. We went grocery shopping, sort of, to make dinner. No homo. His parents were “out of town,” and I wanted to cook up some steak. In the middle of watching The Shooter, Jack called me and said that Mother Chuong would like to invite me over for dinner/food. So I went over. I ended up having ice cream, talking with the buzzed Mother Chuong and her sister-in-law, “tutoring” Carol with logarthims, and messing with Jack. Apparantly Jack’s mom loves me because I talk to the family and I’m smart. Go figure. It was a nice evening though.

Hmm. It’s rather late. I’ve been up for a good 20 hours. Sleepy time. I shall continue this another time. Goodnight world.
